  2. You need to have a calendar system. Keep track of appointments, goals, etc.
  3. Have a financial system. You need to invoice, collect, and watch how money is coming in.


Starting a business can be a little bit stressful. I’m going to share three must have organizational systems with you to help you launch your new business with ease.

First and foremost you need a contact management system. As a business owner, you’re going to be meeting new people every day that you need to keep track of: clients, prospects, vendors, associates. You’re going to want to keep track of all their information. So get a contact management system that works for you and allows you to track who the contacts are, how you met them and any notes or special things you need to remember about them.

Second, you need to have a calendar system. If you have multiple people working in your business, it should be a system that everyone can access and can use and be familiar with.

You’re going to need to keep track of a lot of appointments, deadlines, milestones and goals and keeping track on your calendar will help keep you organized and productive.

The last system that you need that’s really important is a financial system and there are multiple components but most importantly, you need to have a way to invoice clients and collect money because you want to get paid and you also need to keep track of the way that money is coming in and out of their business so you know where to make tweets when necessary.

If you have these three key organizational systems in your new business, you’ll be organized, productive and efficient.
