Social Media is everywhere and it’s critical to business. And the best analogy that I give to explain it is it’s like a highs school cafeteria. It’s all about the buzz and buzz is unseen and it’s very important and yet there’s no direct ROI to measure.
So basically what it is the chance to have your finger on the pulse of everything going on. Everything being said about your business. The positives, the negatives, the ifs and buts, the speculations. It’s a way to keep your ear to the ground.
Next, it’s a way to put out fires before they happen or as they happen. Preventative control. Figure out what people are saying that’s negative and deal with it. Next it’s a premium and free opportunity to build hype and that’s what buzz is all about, creating hype. So use it specially because it’s free and it’s easy and that’s what Social Media is all about. Just remember of it as your high school cafeteria.
