Blogging is something that I get asked about by my clients do they need to have a blog? What's the point of the blog? Is anyone even reading their blog? And, I have 5 reasons that I really believe all businesses should have a blog.

1 is to establish credibility. You want your clients to come to you and trust what you say within your industry. You want to be a recognized authority and having a blog where you repeatedly are posting valuable information helps us establish that credibility.

Another is creating links. So, once you create a blog post you can post it on Facebook. You can send it out on Tweeter. You can share it on other websites and all of these are creating links that come back to your websites so that helps with traffic and it also helps increase search engine optimization.

Another benefit is that it helps build relationships so for one thing you can have others guest blog so people who might want to be recognized or share their information that can help establish that relationship. It helps them, it helps you and relationships really are what business is all about.

And once again traffic. Traffic is really important for your website and so using those links, having those relationships posting on social media. All of that traffic coming back to read your blog is important.

And, finally giving your business a personality. More than just of building or a service but an actual personality and emotion and feeling and showing that there are people involved in this and making your business likeable is another advantage at sometimes is overlooked when we consider blogging.

So, those are 5 reasons that blogging can really help build your business on a PR level, on a marketing stand point and incorporating social media into it and it doesn't cost anything. It's just your own knowledge that you all ready have want to share.
