No matter what company you run, small, large industries specific. Private, public, communicating goals to your staff is paramount to success. The number one priority here is clearly conveying the goals and the strategies in a way that's not easily forgotten. If that's a board when you walk in, if it's a mantra, a time line, anything, you wanna make sure people are thinking about this.
Secondly, you also wanna make sure you create a system to encourage non traditional problems solving. If a goal is such and you have a team working on it, you wann give an opportunity for someone in a non traditional area be, HR, finance, ups, warehouse, for them absolutely share what their thinking some point during the day or week, month, whatever it is.
Lastly, I think everyone should know to some degree where the money comes from. If that's incredibly linear and we're a sales driven business, great. That's our product, we're selling it. Let's get on the same page and move forward.
Communicating goals to your staff gets everyone on the same page and moving into same direction for the greater good of the company.
