    Document Overview:
CLIMATE SOLVER WWF’s climate innovation platform THE CLIMATE SOLVER PLATFORM Climate Solver is a climate innovations platform developed by WWF to strengthen the development and widespread use of low carbon technologies, which radically or transformatively reduce carbondioxide emissions or provide energy access. The platform will stimulate the diffusion of innovative low carbon technologies and also generate awareness about them along with the overall value of innovation as an immediate and practical solution to climate change. WWF-India A climate innovation, by WWF’s definition, is a transformative technology that, given favourable conditions, will generate > 20 million tonnes of annual greenhouse gas reduction or substantially contribute to improved energy access in ten years (i.e. from 2022 and onwards) if applied at scale. WWF Climate change has become an increasingly important global challenge. In order to deal with the threat of climate change, the Indian government is committed to reducing the emission intensity of its GDP by 20-25% over 2005 levels, by 2020. For achieving this target, the government has stipulated a series of policies and actions. WWF-India believes that in order to meet the challenge of climate change and the national target of emission reduction, it is imperative to enable the transition of the economy towards sustainable energy and resource consumption. WWF sees climate innovation as instrumental in bringing this transition towards a sustainable economy. WWF aims to promote the widespread use of innovative low carbon technologies and sustainable clean energy solutions that enhance energy access. Through Climate Solver, WWF-India will identify and highlight the problems, barriers and challenges faced at the crucial stage of research and development (R&D) as well as market uptake and exemplify other hindrances that prevent society from benefitting from these technologies. It hopes to attract the attention of

    From:Inaobi Sagolsem

    Document Overview:
Vehicle Management Log Books Vehicle Log Book: The NGOs need to maintain vehicle log books for all the vehicles including two wheelers and four wheelers . These Log Books are available in the market and could be used. These need to be signed by the person driving the vehicle and also the persons going in the vehicle. • Log Books should have vehicle details written/ print copy pasted in the first/second page of the log book • Log Books should be signed by the driver and also the person travelling in the vehicle. • Fuel Should always be filled in full tank • Whenever fuel is filled that should be mentioned in the log book and the meter reading at the time of filling the fuel should also be mentioned in the log book • Any vehicle maintenance done during the travel should also be mentioned in the log book. • Some agencies keep contact with a particular petrol pump dealer and accordingly the vehicle in charge issue a slip to the petrol pump mentioning the number of litters fuel need to be filled in, and the payments could be made once in a month or fifteen days depending upon the amount limits as agreed by the organization and the Petrol Pump authorities. This system is useful for organizations using a number of vehicles. This will also help reduce having too many vouchers for each payment. To some extent there can be transparency. • The Log Books needs to be checked every day by the concerned vehicles in-charge and the log book data particularly the fuel consumption and maintenance part could be entered in a computer excel sheet for each vehicle. This way we could also know the cost-effectiveness of vehicle usage for each vehicle. • The log books are available in the market and in case it is difficult get one in some interior places, an exercise book could be used where the log book headings could be entered.

    Document Overview:
Why do you need to register your organization: At village level or even in urban areas interested people wants to take up some development activities in the area where they live and also support activities in other areas too. This is initially done with contributions from members and other local people and organizations. At that time they may not have plans to form an organization, but over a period of time they may like to start an organization and get it registered.
