A proposed settlement has been reached in class action lawsuits alleging that Verizon Wireless flat early termination fee ("ETF") (generally $175) is illegal. The settlement will provide $21 million into a Common Fund for claims of subscribers who were charged, paid, and/or were subject to a flat ETF. If you qualify, you may send in a claim form to get benefits, or you can exclude yourself from the settlement, or you can object to it.
