Transaction Scale Profit is an interesting notion. It comes in many different types. Depending on the type of market and the relationships which exist in that market between the buyer and seller will establish the type of profit which there is. The first type is customer solutions profit and this is the ability to build up and establish a relationship with a customer so as to create significant profits. Early in the piece there may be losses but due to the close relationship, profits build. The profit pyramid is the concept of knowing exactly what your customers want and what their preferences are. This information which is power translates to profits. The multiple component profit looks at an entity which has different and alternate profit centers. It aims to maximize the profit from each source. Switchboard profit is the matching up of multiple sellers with multiple buyers. Blockbuster profit is the ability to make huge profits but only after investing a significant amount. An example of this would be drug companies which have to spend millions researching, developing and testing a new product before it can finally go on the market. Another example is a movie which may cost hundreds of millions of dollars. The profit multiplier model is the ability to get return profit from the same service or product. Everyone wants to improve their profit and this profit improvement process guide is a powerful and effective way of achieving it.
