A release of liability form is used to free someone of any potential legal complications. Due to the complex and sophisticated nature of a release of liability form it is important that all potential outcomes are covered for otherwise the form may not be valid and someone may end up being sued. The release of liability form needs to state the two parties involved and mention all the potential liabilities from which they are going to be released. One party is basically saying that should they suffer any loss or personal injury they will not hold the other party responsible nor will they sue them for it. As this is a legal document it is recommended that one gets a lawyer to have a look at it before signing. One does not want to sign a document which doesn't protect someone or which shouldn't be signed in the first place. Someone who goes bungee jumping or parachuting would most likely have to sign out of these. These are both high risk activities and they are saying that should anything happen to them as a result of their activities they will not hold the organizers responsible.
