When a business dissolves there are number of things which have to be taken care of. This list is a handy checklist which should be referenced to if one finds themselves in this situation. Most of it is legal requirements and paperwork which involve the board and shareholders. If a public hearing needs to be arranged than that has to be taken care of. The bank and creditors also need to be notified of the situation. All shareholders need to be notified of the dissolution as well. One of the most important things is that the entity winds down proceedings and ceases to trade. It can not operate once the dissolution process begins nor can it incur fresh debts. It can get into trouble if this happens. A public notice will also have to appear informing the public of the situation.
