In addition to having acquired my Bachelor of Commerce (1992) and Bachelor of Laws (1994) degrees from a prestigious South African university I have completed several certificate and professional programs certifying my competence in the legal field. Some of these are listed below: 1995 ; Practical Legal Training for Attorneys. 1995: Attorneys Admission. 1997: Advocates (Commonwealth equivalent of Barrister/Litigation specialist) Admission. 2009: Advanced Business Brokering. I had practiced fully as an Advocate (Litigator) from 1997 to early 2009. Since my interests have always been in the corporate/commercial/business arena and to more fully participate in this environment I have recently commenced practice as a Legal Consultant focusing on Business contracts and other legal compliance documentation, business development and brokering with emphasis on small to medium sized enterprises. My litigation experience is invaluable to the business environment for the hands-on knowledge gained on poor/failed contracts, improper drafting etc. As a result I am in the advantageous position of pre-empting disputes and unnecessary expensive litigation. I also serve my country in the armed forces on a part-time basis in the Legal services division. I have completed a number of relevant courses for this purpose.
