About me

Scott Taylor is a Martial Arts Editor, Author & Marketing Coach for Karate professionals. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada; Scott spent 5 years in Asia working & studying Martial Arts. Scott now lives outside Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Taylor had an impressive record in Full Contact Uechi- ryu competition and went on to the international scene taking silver in Men's Kata (1998) and Gold in Men's Kata, Silver in Team Kata, Silver in Team Fighting (2000) in Bermuda. Scott retired from tournament and now focuses solely on protective defense & is a member of Okinawa Karate-Do Uechi-ryu Zankai. Scott's coaching includes helping instructors learn to promote their Martial Arts school effectively & at low cost. Scott is available for private coaching & speaking engagements.
