Dr. Kathy Strunk is a Senior Associate with the Education Content Consultant (ECC) business line in PCG Education. Based in the Nashville office, she primarily supports projects and business development for the Mid-South region. Her area of expertise is providing consultation and training in special education, assessment, data analysis, and Response to Intervention. She is also involved in the development and implementation of PCG's EdPlan RTI and IMS assessment education technology solutions. A long-time educator with more than 25 years of service in several Ontario schools including school and district leadership positions, Steve McLean is a senior advisor with PCG Education's Montreal, Quebec office. In the past year, he has facilitated district, board, and school-level improvement planning sessions in both Canada and the United States. He has been responsible for the district-wide implementation and training of a data warehouse tool and the resulting district and school improvement planning process. Evan Lefsky, Ph.D. is Director of Response to Intervention (RtI) and Leadership Services and a manager at PCG Education. He works jointly with the firm's regional offices on EdPlan™ student success planning projects. Dr. Lefsky has worked in the education field for 20 years and has taught at both the K–12 and college levels. Currently, he provides implementation and leadership support for large-scale RtI initiatives in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Wake County Schools in North Carolina, Miami-Dade Public Schools in Florida, and Fulton County Schools in Georgia. He is also Project Director for two Race to the Top grants from the Florida Department of Education. The first project provides leadership development to school board members, superintendents, senior district leadership, and principals from turnaround schools across the state. The second project provides Common Core State Standards (CCSS) implementation support for more than 630 charters schools across the state.

Dennis Jackson EXPERTISE K-12 education, literacy, data use, program evaluation, professional development, educational publishing As Managing Director of PCG Education’s Content Consulting Services, Dennis Jackson works with state and district clients to build systemic initiatives in the areas of literacy, mathematics, data use, and program evaluation. His work includes leadership roles in statewide project in Tennessee, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Dennis is the co-author of the Massachusetts’ Department of Education’s nationally acclaimed Guidelines for Developing an Effective District Literacy Action Plan (MA ESE, 2011) and co-editor of Thinkquiry Toolkit 1: Strategies to Improve Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary Development Across the Content Areas (PCG, 2011). EXPERIENCE Prior to joining PCG Education, Dennis was President and Publisher at STEPS Professional Development USA, where he brought Australian instructional resources, such as First Steps Literacy and First Steps Mathematics, to the Americas. He has extensive experience in K-12 education, having worked as a teacher and curriculum director in public schools for over 20 years. In educational publishing, he held editorial and management roles at Heinemann, Silver Burdett Ginn, and DC Heath and has served as executive editor for training, print, and technology resources related to literacy and mathematics instruction. EDUCATION AND ASSOCIATIONS Dennis earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Education in Reading at Salem State College. He is a Past President of the Massachusetts Reading Association and has served on multiple statewide committees in his home state.

Ms. Mangan has more than eight years of experience in the education field, with a background in teaching, education policy, and district-level reform. She currently serves as the project manager for the Targeted Literacy Initiative in Washington, D.C. with D.C. Currently, Dr. Flanagan serves as Director for School and District Services for the Tennessee Academic Specialists program. She also serves as UDL/Differentiation Team Lead for PCG Education's New York State Department of Education 6-12 ELA curriculum and PD module project and Project Director for Project SUCCESS, an Indiana State Department of Education effort to address the CCSS for students with disabilities.

Christine Donis-Keller has worked in the field of education and evaluation research for more than 15 years. She joined PCG Education as a senior qualitative research specialist in 2011. Her current work includes the evaluation of a district-wide arts initiative in Hartford Public Schools and the implementation and impact evaluation of the statewide Tennessee Academic Specialists Program. She has published reports on theme high schools, the four-day school week, and school district consolidation and specializes in the policy implications of evaluation findings. Ms. Donis-Keller regularly presents research and evaluation findings at national conferences.
