About me
I am currently working as Associate Attorney-at-Law with Al Kamel Law, one of international law firms in Egypt, my areas of practice are mainly including Telecommunication, Media, Intellectual Property, Capital Market, Banking, Finance, E-commerce, and Corporate. We have assisted other governments in the Middle East such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman in investment and commercial law reform, working closely with the World Bank and USAID.
I recently advised SPARKLE, Telecom Italia with respect to operation of submarine cable in Egypt; Microsoft on setting up a data center in Egypt; advised World Bank in connection with providing services of the local and foreign professionals of law and accounting; Middle East Broadcasting Networks with respect to its business in Egypt; Chevron Corporation on setting up its regional website in Egypt; Euroclear Bank with regard to the regulations of securities, transfer of payments, the requirements of reporting and disclosure, securities lending and borrowing; Morgan Stanley on Short Selling Rules in Egypt; the Government of Singapore concerning securities transition; COVINGTON & BURLING LLP with respect to the Change of Control Regulations of telecommunication license; and BT Global Service with respect to its telecommunication services and the end users’ contracts in Egypt.

I am a Participant in developing the Arab legislation’s databases of the Programme on Governance in the Arab Region (the “POGAR”) which launched by the United Nations Development Programme. The following list of my references of various legal aspects displayed at the POGAR website:
