Grew up in mainland US (mostly coastal), since Dad was USN. Dad met mom when stationed in Guam & went back to states. Mom born on Rota, Northern Mariana Islands (now a US Territory). Picked to make my home on islands because of beauty, my wife from Philippines, my 3 kids love the beaches & mom's family from here. Sworn in as lawyer 12/17/07 and asap opened own solo practice in 13'x 16' office space (owned by my 1st client). So do general practice, but now busy with biz plan & settle (P&S), probate suit/settle (S&S), estate P&S, civil rts xn vs local gov't, local labor/immgrtn, & family disputes. Don't yet have enough $$$ 2hire secretary so after legal work, then clerical/data inputs (which seems 2 take more time than lawyering!). Soon gonna being doing biz planning 4 asian investors setting up shop re casino resort on Rota (which ratified local ballot petition to allow gambling in Nov. 2007 by huge 80plus % of voters entitled to vote). Initiative failed on other island, Saipan. Also trying to specialize in Offshore Banking legal products/services since our territory has statutory provision allowing such (which I think is only US jurisdiction allowing such). Really like what I see here on .docstoc. I've done lots of research on web & by far this site is the best offering. And look forward to uploading whatever I got (time permitting of course).
