With management experience dating back nearly two decades, Larson Douglas Hudson is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Simplex Healthcare, Inc., based in Franklin, Tennessee. Offering diabetes testing supplies that ship direct to customers, Simplex Healthcare is a distinguished provider of diabetes medical supplies in the United States. Larson Douglas Hudson also manages the Diabetes Care Club and the CPAP Care Club, two divisions of the company that operate under the Simplex Healthcare brand. These clubs offer medications and testing supplies for patients with diabetes, secondary diabetic health concerns, and sleep apnea. Larson Hudson is a graduate of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior in 1991. Mr. Hudson then completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where he specialized in finance and accounting. After completing his education, Larson Hudson joined the Nashville-based investment-banking firm J.C. Bradford & Co. as Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income. After gaining experience with the firm for more than five years, he followed an entrepreneurial path as the founder and CEO of the start-up company HearingPlanet, a hearing aid supply company. Under the direction of Mr. Hudson, HearingPlanet grew to include more than 1,100 locations throughout the United States. Larson Hudson enjoys staying active both at work and outside of the office. He spends as much time as possible with his friends and family and is pursuing a private pilot's license. Mr. Hudson supports Soles4Souls, Compassion International, and the American Diabetes Association and maintains a professional association with the Young Presidents’ Organization.
