Jesse has spent nearly 20 years in leadership and executive management positions in risk management, internal audit, regulatory compliance, operations, information technology and marketing. Jesse began his career as a bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and then as a Senior Consultant for KPMG’s financial services practice. Recently, Jesse has held executive management positions in several financial institutions from $250 million in asset size to over $5 billion. Jesse has developed an expertise in crisis management, assisting financial institutions through the management and resolution of informal and formal regulatory actions. Jesse has successfully developed and implemented extensive enterprise-wide internal control systems. He has negotiated and implemented core processing systems as well as flagged debit card programs. Jesse is considered a subject matter expert in matters related to anti-money laundering and has taught at the FFIEC's Advanced Anti-Money Laundering School in Arlington, Virginia. Jesse has experience in implementing and improving efficiency ratios through revenue-enhancement and cost reduction strategies. Jesse is frequently featured in industry conferences and is often interviewed by industry publications, including American Banker, Bank Technology News Magazine, U.S. Banker Magazine and Risk Management Magazine. He holds a B.A. from UCLA and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. He has also received a number of certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
