The Washington, D.C. Chapter of the ACM was formally established on November 1, 1958. We are a general interest group serving the greater Washington DC Metro area of NOVA, MD and DC by helping to advance computing as a science and a profession. Our public services have included lectures, social functions, and resume workshops. We also offer fee based Professional Development Seminar classes twice per year.
