Description
This class provides for projectors not elsewhere classified. Thisclass includes the projectors for particular types of objects tobe projected; such as maps and aerial photographs, targets, transparentplates, information data, microscopic objects, scalesand indicators, and stencils or perforated plates. Variousother species and types of projectors are also included here suchas kaleidoscopic, heliostats, stereoscopic andrelief, pointers, gun type, moving imageson screens, episcopes and cabinets including screens.
Various plural and composite types of projectors are includedsuch as projectors involving plural projected images including multicolor, projectorsfor images combined with real objects, projectors withmanual delineation, and plural projection with a singlelight source.
Projectors selective at the operators choice are also includedas where the selection is between a slide and a film strip, betweena cabinet and a distant screen, and between opaque andtransparency projection i.e., epidiascope.
Certain combinations and perfecting features are includedsuch as with vehicles, with sound accompaniment, withediting or auxiliary viewing, additional illumination ofor near screen, temperature control, distortioncompensation, housings, structurally related projectorsand screens, and lamp control. Included also areimprovements in particular elements of or their relation to theprojector, when the elements are claimed in combinationwith other projector structure. These improvements maybe in the projector filters, prisms, shutters, gates, reflectors, lenssupports, condensers, and slide changers.
Certain subcombinations of projectors are included here, usuallywhere they are peculiar to projectors, such as slide changers, housingsand picture carriers.
Methods of projection are included here. This isusually the method of operating projection apparatus in a particularmanner.
