This is the generic class for electronic digital logic devices,circuitry and subcombinations thereof, wherein non-arithmeticaloperations are performed upon discrete electrical signals representinga value normally described by numerical digits.
COMBINATION WITH BASIC SUBJECT MATTER INCLUDED IN THIS CLASS:
Included in this class (326) is subject matter relating to:
1. digital circuits which perform basic logic functions suchas AND, OR, NAND, NOR, EX-OR, or NOT;
2. decoder, inhibitor, multifunctional, or programmable logiccircuits, etc., which perform basic logic functions and are usedin an environment that is not related to any particular art providedfor by other classes;
3. circuits that are used to control the performance of digitallogic circuits, such as accelerating, switching, reliability, transmissionintegrity, etc.;
4. circuits that are used to control the functioning or to interfacelogical devices or circuitry, such as driving, clocking, or synchronizing.
