Clinical Practice Improvement (CPI)

     • Clinical Practice Improvement (CPI) relates to
       goals and/or strategies to improve
       pharmaceutical care in some way within your
       realm of influence.
     • This could involve providing education to
       health care professionals, counseling
       patients, implementing drug delivery systems
       to reduce medication errors, traditional
       clinical pharmacy services, etc….

         CPI Goals and Strategies

     • CPI goals/strategies can involve
       strategies that are clinical, educational,
       technological, and/or administrative in
       nature.

     • CPI goals may be small or large in
       scope
