Everyone Working Together to Ensure Every Student’s Success

Dear Parent/Guardians,
It’s hard to believe it is already October! Cedar Hills is off to a great school year! The students have
settled into their classrooms and new friendships have been formed. It is so exciting to visit the
classrooms and see the great things happening and the growth our students have made in such a
short time. Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe. I would like to thank the parents who attended
the open house and our first PTO meeting. Your involvement in Cedar Hills is appreciated. I’ll see
you around the school and hopefully at Cedar Hills Family Night at Culver’s.

                                                 By Mrs. Franecki

What kind of person do I need to be
As a member of our Cedar hills community?
I’ll be respectful, be responsible, and always be safe
And I will make Cedar Hills a fabulous place!

Be Respectful! Use the golden rule,
which means you do to others as you want done for you.
                          Fill each other’s buckets, and show that you care;
Be kind, give compliments, remember to share!
Be good listeners, and follow the rules.
Take care of our property, equipment and tools.
Use good manners, say ―thank you‖ and ―please‖
And you can even say ―bless you‖ when you hear someone sneeze!
AAAAAAACHOOOO! Bless you! Thank you! You’re Welcome! (Refrain)

Be Responsible! By doing your best.
Turn in all your homework, and study for tests.
Keep your workspace organized, keep your desk neat,
Tidy up you classroom duties very seriously.
                                   Use equipment carefully and properly.
Come to school prepared with all the things you will need.
Do what is right and take the lead. (Refrain)

Be Safe so that no one gets hurt.
Control your arms and legs and voice, and be alert.
Walk—do not run– and stay in a line.
Hold on to the railing; take one step at a time.
Wait your turn, be fair when you play.
