A beautiful, well-shaped nose compliments other facial features. Many of us
who are not satisfied with the length, size, and shape of the nose can benefit
from rhinoplasty provided at Houston Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery. Dr.
Sean Boutros and Dr. Jason Hall, our experienced and skilled plastic
surgeons provide rhinoplasty for men and women who desire to reshape
their nose so that it improves the overall symmetry of the face.

Nose Surgery Ensures Improved Facial Symmetry and
Nose surgery or rhinoplasty is performed for aesthetic as well as corrective
purposes. The procedure brings about a balance of form and function to the
nose, providing a nose that not only looks good, but is easy to breathe
through as well. At Houston Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery, we can
address many aesthetic complaints of the nose, such as:

   • A high dorsum (or bridge)
   • A wide dorsum
   • A low dorsum
   • A narrow dorsum
   • Bulbous tip
   • A tip that is too low, a tip that is too high
   • A nose that is just to large Call us: 713-791-0700

At Houston Plastic Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery, our plastic surgeons
undertake modern nose reshaping surgery, which is centered on the principle
of reshaping the nasal support. Based on patient conditions and severity of
the problem, we advocate either open or closed rhinoplasty surgery.

Benefits of Rhinoplasty
   • A much better-looking nose
   • Improved facial appearance
   • Improved nasal breathing function
   • Risks and complications are minimal

In our Houston, Texas plastic surgery center, we also perform septoplasty to
repair deviated septum and turbinate reduction. This procedure is performed
in conjunction to provide a pleasing nasal appearance and simultaneously
correct any breathing difficulty.

You will be asked to wear a surgical splint on the nose at the conclusion of
the procedure. If the open approach is used, then sutures across the
columella will be removed in approximately five to six days. And in the case
of closed approach, the sutures on the inside of the nose will dissolve in
approximately one week.
