Short CourSeS
SAE offers short courses in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reason, Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro, however not all courses are available at each campus. Course
length and session availability also vary depending on location. Please contact your relevant campus for more information on our short courses.

SAE does not issue eCOEs for Visa applications for short courses. Short courses can only be booked for international students if they have valid
entry permission for Australia.

Tuition fees and payment options for short courses vary from campus to campus. Please contact the campus that you wish to undertake your short course
for any information regarding fees. For more information on study periods and intake dates, please contact your relevant campus or visit www.sae.edu




Vet CertIFICAte III ProGrAM FeeS
The following fee schedules apply to the Certificate III programs on offer at SAE Institute. These include:

•      Certificate III in Music – CUS30109 a 6 month part-time program is also known as the Electronic Music Production course (EMP).

•      Certificate III in Technical Production – CUS30209 a 14 week part-time, 7 week full-time or 3 week accelerated program is also known as the Live
       Sound Production course (LSP). This program is only available in Byron Bay and Brisbane campuses. Please visit www.sae.edu for more details.

SAE does not issue eCOEs for Visa applications for the EMP and LSP courses. The EMP and LSP courses can only be booked for international students
if they have valid entry permission for Australia. Please note the VET FEE-Help is not available for these courses.

FEE-HELP AND VET FEE-HELP
Domestic students that meet the requirements outlined in the FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP information booklet, may choose to defer their tuition fees
through the Commonwealth government FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP loan scheme. Fees are processed on the census date of each trimester, based
on the HE unit or VET unit price. Students can apply for FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP assistance with their campus. For further details see FEE-HELP or
VET FEE-HELP Information Booklet or visit www.goingtouni.gov.au

TOTAL COURSE FEES IN ADVANCE
INterNAtIoNAl
The first trimester of the tuition fees must be paid on initial registration. The remainder of the total course fees are paid 30 days prior to the commencement of
the first trimester. Students paying for the total course fees in advance will receive a 10% discount on the tuition fees.

TRIMESTER InSTALMEnTS

Unless through the FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP scheme, tuition fees are paid in instalments at the beginning of each trimester, with the first payment
due on the course commencement day.
INterNAtIoNAl
The first trimester of the tuition fees must be paid on initial registration. All further tuition fees are paid in instalments at the beginning of each subsequent
trimester.

STUDy RESOURCES
In addition to the resources that SAE Institute provides, individual students may require one or more of the following. These items may be available for
purchase from SAE Institute:

•      CD-R, DVD, audio tapes, DV tapes, writing materials, submission folders, etc.

•      Additional text books, magazine subscriptions, on-line memberships or access to other information resources.

•      Additional electronic devices (headphones, calculators, etc) and secondary storage media (CD-R, DVD-R, external hard drive, etc) for backup and
       storage of computer files including audio and video data.

SAE Byron Bay has on-campus accommodation options. Please contact SAE Byron Bay or visit our website for more information on accommodation fees.
Please note that accommodation fees are not covered by FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP.

hoW to/ PAY FeeS
 FEE-HELP VET FEE-HELP
    FEE-HELP and VETFEE-HELP is currently available for HE courses and selected VET courses. Please ask your desired campus for eligibility. If the
    applicant is an Australian citizen or a holder of a Humanitarian visa they may elect to pay tuition fees via FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP. To do so, simply
    contact SAE Institute Administration and ask to receive the Request for FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP Assistance Form in the mail. Complete, date,
    sign and submit the original Request for FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP Assistance Form to SAE Institute Administration before the advertised census
    date. Information about FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP can also be obtained from: www.goingtouni.gov.au
    When submitting the Request for FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP Assistance Form please include your Tax File number and attach a certified copy of
    one of the following forms of identification:
    • Australian Passport;
    • Australian Birth Certificate;
    • Australian Citizenship Certificate; or
    • Permanent Humanitarian visa.
