                      CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

                                 Live Right Now Calgary

                            from January 10 to July 1, 2011

1. TO ENTER

To enter the Live Right Now Calgary contest, you must log on to our website
www.cbc.ca/eyeopener and fill out the contestant form. Included in that form must be a
current photograph. Entrants will only be accepted online. No telephone or mail in or
drop off entries will be accepted.

Contestants must complete the official entry form available on the CBC website
www.cbc.ca/eyeopener

To be valid, all entry forms must be received by January 17 at 12 noon (CST).

Photocopies of entry forms and other mechanical reproductions will be rejected. Limit of
one entry per person – and entrants can only enter their own person for the contest.
Those under the legal age of consent must have permission from a legal guardian.
Entrants cannot enter other individuals, whether that person has been notified or not.

Entry forms become the property of CBC and will not be returned to contestants.

Entrants must complete the online form in full, and complete all fields, to be considered
for the contest. All texts must be composed by and be the original work of the contestant,
and must not violate the rights of any third party. By submitting an entry, contestants
assign all rights and waive any moral rights they may have in their texts. Contestants
acknowledge that CBC, and its partners, YMCA of Calgary, may publish this text in
whole or in part, on any medium (radio, television, Internet or other).

No purchase required.

2. ELIGIBILITY

Contest is open to all Alberta residents 12 years of age and older at the time of entering
the contest. Those under 18 years of age require consent from a legal guardian.
Employees of CBC and the YMCA, and their affiliates, as well as their immediate family
(father/mother, brother/sister, son/daughter) or persons living under the same roof are not
eligible to enter this contest. Participants may be asked to provide a certificate from their
family doctor, confirming their ability to participate.

Contestants will be divided into two groups of 20 people, one group for those who are
able to commit to attending a weekly training program until July 1, 2011 in the mornings;
one group for those able to commit to attending a weekly training program until July 1,
2011 in the evenings. The training will occur on the same day and time of the week. If
any contestant misses two consecutive training classes, they will be removed from the
program.

Additionally, each participant must commit to participating in a total of two volunteer
activities for the YMCA, one to be held mid-spring and the other prior to July 1, 2011.

3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES

Thirty (30) contestants will be selected. The selection will be based on the answers
provided in the online submission forms at www.cbc.ca/eyeopener. The selection will be
made by the staff of CBC Calgary and the YMCA of Calgary based on the criteria
outlined in the online submission form.

Once CBC Calgary and the YMCA choose the forty contestants, they agree to undertake
a body analysis, work out with the trainers provided, meet with the nutritionists selected,
and agree to participate in radio and television segments outlining their progress. They
also agree to have their picture, submission form, bio, and health and fitness goals posted
on the Live Right Now website at www.liverightnow.ca for the duration of the contest,
and until the CBC removes the site.

Winning contestants only will be notified the week of January 24, 2011 of their
eligibility.

4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S)

Each of the 30 contestants will receive a six month membership to the Eau Claire YMCA
in Calgary; memberships are transferable to each of the YMCA facilities in Calgary.

Each contestant will receive Live Right Now clothing.

The total prize value per person is $550.

5. GENERAL RULES

5.1 To be selected as a contestant, submissions must be completed in full. Selection is at
the discretion of the CBC Contest managers.

5.2 Winners, shall agree, if necessary, to have their name and/or picture, including their
photograph, and/or their voices used for advertising purposes related to this contest, free
of charge.

5.3 Winners, shall sign a document attesting to their eligibility as stipulated in paragraph
2 of these rules and releasing CBC and the YMCA of Calgary and their affiliates, as well
as their respective directors, officers and employees, from all liability for any damage or
loss arising from participation in this contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of
the prize.
5.4 The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money,
nor sold nor transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.

5.5 If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, CBC, the YMCA of
Calgary and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees,
reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable
value.

5.6 Refusal to accept the prize releases CBC, the YMCA of Calgary and their affiliates,
as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, of any obligation toward the
winner.

5.7 Should winners make any false statement, they shall be automatically disqualified
from the contest.

5.8 CBC, the YMCA of Calgary and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors,
officers and employees, shall assume no liability resulting from losses, delays, mistaken
addresses on mail or e-mail received, typographical errors, technical, computer or
telephone malfunctions, loss or theft of computer or telephone data, damage to software
or computer equipment, fraudulent calls or any other mistake.

5.9 CBC, the YMCA of Calgary and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors,
officers and employees, shall assume no liability whatsoever for any situation in which
their inability to act results from an event or situation beyond their control, including a
strike, lockout or any other labour dispute at their location or the locations of the
organizations and businesses whose services are used to hold this contest

5.10 All personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail
address and age is collected solely for the purposes of administering this contest and shall
not be used for any other purpose without your consent. By providing this information,
you consent to it being used for the stated purposes. However, according to the online
submission form, the information will be posted on the www.liverightnow.ca, along with
your health and fitness goals, as well as your bio.

5.11 CBC, the YMCA of Calgary and their affiliates, as well as their respective directors,
officers and employees shall assume no liability whatsoever for any injury that may
occur.

5.11 By entering, contestants agree to abide by the contest rules which shall be applied by
the CBC. All its decisions are final.
