     School of the Art Institute of Chicago

 2009 - Teacher Institute in Contemporary Art(TICA) at the School of the
Art Institute of Chicago. Awarded an Artist Residency to study in a
supportive and challenging environment with peers, and experience
/investigate the lastest trends in contemporary art.

The Thacher School

2008, 2011 Anacapa Artist in Residence awarded at the Thacher School, a
coeducational boarding school for high school students outside Los
Angeles, California. The Thacher school is a high school for highly
motivated and high achieving students.

 The Julia and David White Artists’ Colony, Ciudad
Colon, Costa Rica

2006 - Artist Residency awarded to 2 visual artists for the month of April.
Artist are given the space, time, and accommodations to pursue their
own professional development in the arts. This is a four week residency.

       Skidmore College Art Teacher Fellowship
        Summer Six

2005 – Fellowship awarded to approximately 12 art teachers throughout the
world. Art teachers are given the space, time and accommodations to
pursue their own professional development in the arts. This is a 4 week
fellowship in July.

     Grant Workshop/Faces of Harvey
1999- Authored grant working with children ages 6-12 with the
Natchitoches Community Theater Arts Center sponsored by Shreveport
Regional Arts

-Children made impressions of their faces with plaster into rabbit’s faces.
An exhibition was displayed in conjunction with the play “Harvey”

                      1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000 Designed entire art program for children,
                      ages 6-12. Children experienced various mediums: painting, drawing,
