A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR CUSTOMIZED TRAINING PROGRAMS IN THE NORTH CAROLINA COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM. The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts: SECTION 1. There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Community Colleges System Office the sum of one million seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,750,000) for the 2009-2010 fiscal year and the sum of three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) for the 2010-2011 fiscal year for customized training programs in the Community College System. These training programs shall offer programs and training services to assist new and existing business and industry to remain productive, profitable, and within the State. SECTION 2. This act becomes effective July 1, 2009.
