                   D.9 LOCKER ROOM GUIDELINES

It is understood that youth hockey teams may be comprised of mixed genders.
To ensure a safe environment for all players, the following procedures should be
followed.

 From the peewee level on, girls and boys will not be permitted in the same
locker room. This policy is also extended to include parents of the
opposite sex. Teams should relax this policy and set a time (ie. 15
minutes before and after the game) to allow members of the opposite sex
into the locker room to hold team meetings. It is important that no player
feel excluded because they are changing in a different room.

 Players should not horseplay in the locker room. Wrestling and the
throwing of tape balls or snowballs is forbidden.

 There should be two adults of the same sex in the locker room at all times.

 There are no cameras of any kind permitted in the locker rooms. This
includes cell phones with cameras. Coaches will allow cell phones with
cameras in the locker rooms only if they are turned off and remain inside a
       bag, pocket or purse.
