that team were Reba Stanley, Antanisha Outlaw and Jackie Coady. All of these athletes qualified for the

symposium in SC to talk about Unified Sports - both attended. Coach Mancini, Coach Griffin, Libbi Carts
& Ann Buchanan plunged at the Penguin Plunge. The team raised over 1200 dollars.

Old Business:

Platinum Sponsorship Ad for HSO: Jessica Pandolfe created an ad to highlight athletes who are
musicians – a mock up was distributed. It looked great, but we wanted the shading to be lightened or
removed if not in color.

Rockcats Spirit Night: Tess Dagenais – Entire school could be acknowledged. Could have multiple
groups perform, sing, etc. We would receive 50% of concessions if we sell a certain number of tickets. It
would be difficult to pull off this year, but we might want to consider reserving a date for next year
(includes spirit day and fundraising).

New Business:

Project Graduation: Project Grad is seeking donations to help offset the cost of the all-night party and
events and volunteers to help with events. In the past the BC has made a $500 donation. Motion made
for the Booster Club to donate $500 to Project Graduation. It was seconded and unanimously approved.

                                                                                                        3-6

Project Grad also needs volunteers to help with Flamingo Flocking. The Evening of Elegance was
fabulous.

Scholarship Committees: Both awards are handed out at the senior awards assembly in June.
 Wilderman Award - $1500 each to one male and one female scholar athlete. Recipients determined
by a committee of booster club members and coaches.
 Balsamo Award(s) – Funded by 50/50 collections. Recipients determined by Executive Committee.

Concessions:
 We may get some semi-final basketball games. All championship games are being played at
   Mohegan Sun.

Request from Boys Tennis: Paul Lanza – Athletes have been paying for tennis clinics themselves. Paul
asked for financial assistance to be able to continue for 4 more weeks. Once they do fundraising, they
would return the money. There was much discussion about whether to give Boys Tennis their concession
money ($100) before the end of the year. Until they paid it back, they would carry a negative balance –
not a good thing. Discussion of “borrowing” or just giving it to them for the athletes. The request was
withdrawn.

Next meeting: The next meeting will be Wed. April 6, 2011 @ 7:00 p.m. A motion to adjourn was
seconded and unanimously approved.

Respectfully Submitted,

Kathi Wickham, Secretary
