                                  Class Teacher Vacancy

       Thank you for your interest in our temporary vacancy for a class teacher. The
position is temporary for a year due to uncertain numbers on roll. The post starts on 1st
September 2009, and is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced CRB
       It is likely that the position will be initially based within Key Stage 2. However, this
could change dependent on circumstance. However, as this is a Primary School vacancy, I
would expect that the successful candidate would be happy placed anywhere within the
       Nursery Hill Primary School prides itself in valuing individuality and everyone within
our family is constantly striving to be the best that they can be. I am looking for a very
special person. The team offer support, advice, enthusiasm and friendship. Nursery Hill is
a very special place indeed.
       In return for hard work, dedication and enthusiasm, we will give you opportunities to
develop and grow so that you are able to achieve your own potential.
       In your letter of application, please state how you feel that you meet the personnel
specification as well as discussing how you can add an extra dimension to our team. As
well as this, please complete a statement (no longer than one side of A4) describing how
you have embedded Literacy across the curriculum in an innovative way to raise standards.
       The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 22nd April. Shortlisting will
take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 6th May 2009 and interviews are likely to take
place on the afternoon of Wednesday 15th May 2009. I will make an appointment to come
and watch all shortlisted candidates teach their current class for an hour at a suitable time
before interview.
