        Susanna Peters/Pedro was born on St. Croix in about 1757 and was baptized in
the Dutch Reformed Church. 1 She was classified as black.2
        On 25 March 1779, his freedom was recognized by Governor Peter Clausen.
        She had a relationship with Jacob Crameuw. They had two children.
        She was freed by Joseph de Windt?, which was confirmed by the Governor on 25
August 1779.
        She married on 3 April 1793 in the Christiansted Lutheran Mission Church to
Christian Wilhelm,3 who was born on St. Thomas in about 1750.
        He came from St. Thomas to St. Croix in about 1771.
        In 1841, she was living at her own home at 7A Queen’s Cross Street,
Christiansted, a widow and pensioner, along with her granddaughter, Maria [Frederikka]
Hennemann.4

Sussanna Peters (Crameuw, Wilhelm) (c1757- ):

    Enslaved Property :

       Catharina Elizabeth, was a heathen with the name Priscilla, but with her
baptism, received the name, on 15 July 1798 in the Christiansted Lutheran Mission
Church.5

         Helena was classified as black. 6

         Child of Helena:

         1. i.    John Francis
         2. ii.   Ann Christianne

       1. John Francis a boy, was baptized on 1 May 1814 in the Christiansted
Lutheran Mission Church. 7
       He died on 15 October 1814.8

       2. Ann Christianne was baptized on 15 December 1816 in the Christiansted
Lutheran Mission Church.9


       Maria, was a heathen and was baptized with the same name, on 17 July 1802 in
the Christiansted Lutheran Mission Church. 10
       On 17 June 1836, she died at age 68, a member of the Lutheran Mission Church.11

         Child of Priscilla:

         1. i.    Maria Elisabeth

       1. Maria Elisabeth was baptized on 11 February 1816 in the Christiansted
Lutheran Mission Church. 12
