better Covenant, we should strive to give at

When the apostle Paul was collecting money to help

that money was handled. He knew he was
responsible to God to handle the money properly (2

save souls. The money should be used to pay
evangelists to share the gospel (1 Cor. 9:3-14); send

(Rom. 13:1). The IRS is nice enough to say that our
gifts for charitable purposes is exempt from taxes.
We should appreciate that and take advantage of it.

indicate that the practice of making a pledge is
scriptural and right (Acts 11:29; 2 Cor. 9:7; 2 Cor. 8:10-
12; 2 Cor. 9:5).
