John Hainkel, a founding member of the Firm, co-leads the Mass Tort & Class Actions Practice Area. With his un-
surpassed expertise in the defense of claims involving asbestos and other occupational exposures, Mr. Hainkel often
leads cases involving complex scientific issues and massive document productions. His practice ranges from the de-
fense of small, single plaintiff/single defendant claims to representation in complex, multi-party claims and large class
actions involving thousands of plaintiffs and multiple defendants. Actively involved in the defense of toxic tort cases
in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana, Mr. Hainkel has participated in many Louisiana appeals relating to
asbestos and other occupational exposures.
