Developmental/Clinical Psychology

LAURENTIAN UNIVERSITY: The Department of Psychology invites
applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level
beginning July 1, 2006. Applicants will be expected to teach some
combination of the following courses: Introduction to Psychology,
Developmental Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, and
Psychometrics. The successful candidate should have a completed Ph.D.,
demonstrate research productivity, and have teaching experience.
Candidates meeting these criteria from any area of psychology will be
considered. Registration or eligibility for registration is an asset. The
department is large and active and multiple collaborative opportunities exist
within and outside the university. For example, opportunity exists to
participate in a Master’s and newly proposed Ph.D. programs. A sports
psychology program has also recently begun and Laurentian University is a
partner in the province’s newest medical school. Further information about
