OPERATIONS ORDER Dining In

Time Zone Used Throughout OPORD: Romeo (local)

TASK ORGANIZATION: No Change.

1. SITUATION:

      a. Enemy Forces: N/A
      b. Friendly Forces: N/A
      c. Environment:
            (1) Terrain: Masonic Temple, Hard Wood Floors, Lights, Tables, Mr. Vice
            (2) Weather: N/A
      d. Attachments/Detachments: N/A

2. MISSION: The Mercyhurst Company conducts Dining In NLT 170005DEC09 in order to
build unit cohesion.

3. EXECUTION:
Commander’s Intent: To effectively introduce MSI-MSIV Cadets to Military customs and
traditions.

   a. Concept of Operation- The operation has 4 phases: Phase I Cadets will either form up
      at McAuley Hall or will meet their designated driver at a predetermined location and
      time. Phase II begins upon arrival at the Masonic Temple NLT 1700 and lasts until all
      Cadets are in the main dining hall Phase III Begins with the formal presentation and lasts
      until all Cadets eat Chow and are dismissed to leave. Phase IV Begins when all Cadets
      are dismissed and is completed when all Cadets return to Mercyhurst

   b. Scheme of Maneuver
        Phase 1: Cadets will either form up at McAuley Hall or will meet their designated
          driver at a predetermined location and time.
        Phase 2: begins upon arrival at the Masonic Temple NLT 1700 and lasts until all
          Cadets are in the main dining hall
        Phase 3: Begins with the formal presentation and lasts until all Cadets eat Chow and
          are dismissed to leave.
        Phase 4: Begins when all Cadets are dismissed and is completed when all Cadets
          return to Mercyhurst.

       c. Tasks to Subordinate Units
           (A) Conduct PCI/PCC NLT 3DEC09 unless already complete
           (B) Ensure all Cadets are aware of the DD/Transpo plan NLT 5 DEC09
           (C) Ensure all Cadets are meet AR 670-1

       d. Coordinating Instructions
1. Uniform: Class A (White Shirt with bow-tie Males, Stupid Black thing Females)
2. Timeline:
   1700 Arrival
   1900 Complete
   4. SERVICE AND SUPPORT:

          a. General - The Mercyhurst Company departs from McAuley or a predetermined
             location NLT 1700 via POV/DD transpo plan
          b. Material and Services.
                 (1) Supply: Bring your own Bear (BOYB) 5 drink MAX

   5. COMMAND AND SIGNAL:

          a. Command
              (1) Cadre Chain of Command: MAJ Dunlavey, MSG McCarthy
              (2) Cadet Chain of Command: CDT Porter, CDT Case, CDT Kostic, CDT Dooher


           b. Signal
                 (1) Primary means of communication is cell phone. See Battalion Phone Roster
                 (Annex H)
