                                 IEEE Multimedia
 1. How do we deal with print subscribers?
 They would not have access to multimedia attachments. If they
want access, they can buy a particular paper online. So, this means
online purchases will include multimedia attachments.

 2. How do we promote multimedia to get more
     attachment/interest/usage?
 IEEE wide. Take several good examples of papers that make good
use of multimedia. Examples which have the links within the PDF.
The selected papers will be made publicly available The goal is to
have them by the end of October.

 3. Any updates on projected implementation date for the PDF link
     approach?
 Late May is projected, but really the end of the second quarter.

                                       The Gamble

      • IEEE Magazine Sales Dept. believes (but will not
guarantee) that they can double or more our ad
revenues. They see robotics as hot!
      • Ad reps at trade shows will raise our profile in
          industrial community.
      • The risk--that the market is not there, that we are
          already reaching our potential advertisers.
