					USA TAEKWONDO (USAT)
MEETING OF THE USAT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
November 11-12, 2010

12. David Askinas introduced Master Rick Shin from Oregon.

I remember reading this one lone sentence in the minutes of the
meeting and thinking how out of place it seemed. I was thinking
why would you put in a sentence like that without explaining who,
what and why he was being introduced. Why was good ole Davie
introducing Rick Shin from Oregon? I thought at the time
something was being left out and sooner or later it would surface
and once I read Mr. Herb “Rutgers” Perez` complaint that it in fact
did surface!

Mr. Shin is also running for the “Small Club” Director position.
Was this why Askinas Introduced him to the Board? What I am
very confused about is this whole “small Club” thing! Less than 35
members in the past three years including the election year of 2010.
If you do some basic research on Mr. Shin you will see that he is
the CEO of West Coast Taekwondo Association. Looking at the
web-site it list 27 schools and brags of the following ;

Headed by President and Founder Chief Grand Master Jay K.
Shin, Chief Master Rick W. Shin and Association Chief Masters,
Masters, a staff of expert instructors, U.S. West Coast Taekwondo
Association offers a number of programs for physical fitness and
instruction in Taekwondo and Hapkido. U.S. West Coast Taekwondo
Association has trained over 70,000 students past 22 years world
wide!

Out of these 27 schools Rick Shin is listed as having his name on
one. That school is in the Philippines! How does that constitute as
Small Club in the USA?

Chief Grand Master Jay K. Shin

Chief Grand Master Jay K. Shin is President & Founder of U.S.
West Coast Taekwondo Association. He is 9th Degree Black Belt in
Taekwondo with more than 50 years of experience. He was a 1988
Seoul Olympic Coach and former Chief Master Instructor for Nepal's
National Teams and Special Elite Forces in the Gurkha Army. He is
current Oregon State Martial Arts Commissioner for USA
Taekwondo, Vice President of U.S. Taekwondo Grand Master's
Society, and Head Chairman of USA Taekwondo Oregon
Foundation.

Coach of the 1988 Olympic Seoul Games, Who was it again that
was on that team? Jimmy Kim - Herb Perez ??? Oh look what else
Grand Master Shin is; He is the current Oregon State Martial Arts
Commissioner for USAT! Yep that is MAC! Who Did the deal with
Hong Kong Kim and JP Choi? Yes that is correct Davie and HERB!
So what does that tell me! That mean regardless of a Shin vote or a
Herb Vote you would always have the same result for Davie and his
Mission!

Chief Master Rick W. Shin

Chief Master Rick Shin is eldest son of Chief Grand Master Jay K.
Shin. Chief Master Rick Shin has been training Taekwondo for past
30 years and holds 6th Degree Black Belt. He is Oregon State
Taekwondo President for USAT and CEO for U.S. West Coast
Taekwondo Association. He was official delegate for 2008 Team USA
to World Championships in Turkey. He is also Kukkiwon certified
International Referee. Chief Master Shin oversee every aspects of
the U.S. West Coast Taekwondo Association and USA Taekwondo
Oregon developments.

Rick Shin, he is the President for USAT of Oregon! Wow nothing
like holding all the powers in Oregon! Mac and USAT! Now you
would think with that kind of POWER and both Father and Son
holding both these positions that they would have recruited plenty
of USAT members! With 27 schools that Rick is CEO over how
many USAT members are with the USAT? What is he running for
again? Oh that’s right SMALL CLUB Director! Does any of this
make any sense to you!

Why in the Hell is Herb Crying again? Why was the small club
created? To promote those small clubs into growing and promoting
grassroots! Does Rick Shin sound like he is a “SMALL CLUB” if he
is, does the Philippines count?

Oregon Secretary of State

Under Mr. Shin’s name the it only shows the name of Black Belt
Academy. When you click the link on the USAT it takes you to the
Association! The address with the Secretary of state list the
principal address of the Black Belt Academy as the address of the
USA Taekwondo Oregon.

Can this organization get any more corrupt!
