Downloading a File

1. Open a web browser (Firefox, IE 6.0 or 7, Safari, etc).

2. Type download.swansonrussell.com into the URL bar.

3. Enter the Username and Password that you were provided.
    •   If you were not given a Username and Password, please contact your Swanson Russell Account
        Team to request information.

4. After successfully logging in, simply select the file that you want and save it to your computer/server.
    •   If your file is in a directory, click on the “Go to directory” button of the specific directory where the
        file is located.


Uploading a File

In order to upload a file, you must have an FTP client installed on your computer.

There are many FTP clients available on the Internet – FileZilla is a free FTP client
that is available for all systems:

1. If you haven’t already, install the FTP client software on your computer.

2. Open the FTP client software.

3. Once the software is loaded/open, locate the URL line and enter:
    download.swansonrussell.com

4. Enter the Username and Password that you were provided in the Username and Password fields,
    then connect/login to the Swanson Russell FTP server.

5. Once connected, you should be able to view the FTP site through the FTP client software.

    •   To upload a file, most FTP clients allow you to simply drag and drop files onto the FTP site.
    •   Otherwise, locate a browse button – this will allow you to browse your machine and select
        the file that you want to upload.
