RIM (Blackberry) OS phones (e.g. 7290, Pearl, 8300)
Before you start
Make sure your phone is able to connect to the Internet and allows software to be installed. If you are unsure how to do this, please read the manual that came with your phone or contact the supplier of your mobile phone service.
Download and Installation
Please follow the steps below to download and install Tel3 s SmartPlug to your phone. If you have any questions about the installation process, please contact support.
Step 1: Open text message Open the link in the Tel3 text message to take you to the download page for the Tel3 s SmartPlug software.
Step 2: Follow links Select and open the link to Download Now! to begin downloading the Tel3 s SmartPlug software.
Step 3: Download Open the link to download the application. Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to install the downloaded file. Click Open and follow the on-screen instructions to install the Tel3 s SmartPlug software.

Step 4: Install If you are prompted with a security warning, make sure you click yes . If you are prompted with a download confirmation message, make sure you click download .

Step 5: Complete installation Once the software is installed, click on RUN or OK . Once completed, accept the prompt to reboot your device. Note: If you are using a Blackberry v4.3 OS device, please skip stage 6 and follow the steps on the next page. Step 6: First call Congratulations, you are now ready to use Tel3 s SmartPlug! We recommend you test the service by calling the London travel information Line on 011-44-207222-1234. For questions contact support.

If you are using a Blackberry v4.3 operating system device, please follow the following steps to set your phone up after you have downloaded and installed Tel3 s SmartPlug. If you are unsure which operating system version you are using, please follow steps 1-3 to find out.
Step 1: Open the Settings Menu Find and open the Options icon on your main menu.
Step 2: Go into About Choose About .
Step 3: Find your operating system version On the third line from the top, look for v4.3 , as it is shown here.
Step 4: Open the Options menu Press Back/Esc to go back to the main menu. Open the options icon

Step 5: Open the Advanced Options Menu Choose Advanced Options.
Step 6: Go into Applications Choose Applications to pull up the list of applications set on your phone.
Step 7: Find the Tel3 s SmartPlug software file Find and scroll down to Tel3 . Once highlighted, click it using the application button (located to the right of the green call button) on your handset to make the menu appear
Step 8: Press Edit permissions Go to Edit Permissions .

Step 9: Expand Interactions settings Scroll down to Interactions. Once highlighted, click on the application button to pull up a menu.
Step 10: Expand Interactions settings Choose expend.
Step 11: Verify permissions settings Verify that the Keystroke injection setting is set to Allow . Tel3 s SmartPlug is now set up properly. Return to the main menu and begin making calls.
