Following the merger of Sentara Healthcare and Tidewater Health Care in June 1998, have served as
Senior Planner/Director of Planning for Sentara Healthcare, an integrated delivery system comprised of
hospitals, ambulatory care centers, home care, physician offices, nursing homes, health plans, and
related organizations. Provide support for strategic, operational, program, facility, site, equipment, and
community health planning, including Certificate of Public Need (COPN).
Director of Planning, Tidewater Health Care, Virginia Beach, Virginia. 1988 - 1998.
Following the acquisition of Portsmouth General Hospital by Tidewater Health Care (THC), served as
Director of Planning of THC, a health care system comprised of Virginia Beach General Hospital and
Portsmouth General Hospital and related organizations. Provided support in strategic, programmatic,
facility, operational, and community health planning, including COPN.

General Hospital, Portsmouth, Virginia. 1985 - 1988.
Provided support in planning and marketing, including COPN. Provided management oversight of:
