“VACATIONS
Families planning vacations which do not coincide with
regular school holidays should discuss the matter with the
principal and the child’s teacher well in advance of
departure. A written note should be sent to the office after
such discussions but before the planned vacation. Work
will not be provided prior to the vacation. If you would
like to keep your child involved in academics we suggest
reading for enjoyment and/or keeping a vacation journal.
After the student’s return, it is the responsibility of the
parent and the student to make arrangements with the
teacher to complete the work that has been missed.”
