• How can education institutions and education initiatives
  facilitate revitalisation and development of SMC’s?

• Especially, revitalising / developing the local economy

• This sub-study will probably be merged with the one on
  local business development policy
                 Cities in focus:

• Herning, Randers, Nakskov, Norrtälje, Lappeenranta
  and Kokkola

• Intention is to expand this to most MECIBS cities - and
  associated cities in the East
