Trip Cost, Inclusions, Cancellation and Responsibility
Cost of $3568.00Cabin C, $3468Cabin D, $3168Cabin E, per person, double occupancy.
Includes All accommodations in 4 star hotels; daily breakfast while not on the cruise; 12 day
cruise aboard the Viking River Cruise ship , the Kirov, cabin category C or E; all meals
onboard ship; roundtrip transfers
Not Included Tips while onboard ship, Travel Insurance, meals not specified and items
of a personal nature.
Responsibility Schilling Travel, Mary Lufkin Batinich, and/or program organizers act in the
capacity of agents in all matters of transportation and tour operation and their liability is limited
to the terms of the tour package. Schilling Travel, Mary Lufkin Batinich and /or its agents are
not liable for delays, inconveniences, expenses or mishaps of any kind whatsoever resulting
entirely, or in part from negligence of others or from causes beyond their control.
Insurance At additional cost, trip cancellation/interruption, baggage and supplemental
health/life insurance is available and highly recommended by Schilling Travel.
Cancellation Policy Notification of cancellation must be received in writing by Schilling
Travel. If the trip is cancelled for any reason whatsoever by the individual, Mary Lufkin
Batinich or factors beyond the control of the organizers the limit of liability shall not exceed the
amount paid by the passenger; after the registration is received there will be a $600 non-
refundable cancellation penalty per person up until 90 days prior to departure; 89-21 days prior
to departure a charge up to 50% of the total cost; less than 21 days no refund will be made. As
these cancellation penalties may result in a significant monetary loss to the traveler , Schilling
Travel strongly recommends you purchase trip cancellation insurance from Travel
Insured International. The following pages are excerpts directly from Travel Insured’s online
brochure defining what is and is not covered. Covered reasons can change over time. Delaying
the purchase of cancellation insurance may impact what benefits will be available to you at a
Condition of Tour Participation Schilling Travel, Mary Lufkin Batinich and/or the organizers
reserve the right to refuse to accept registrations or remove any person from the tour whose
general deportment hinders the operation of the tour. All expenses as a result of this removal
will be the responsibility of the individual. Any usused tour portion will be non-refundable.

The Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Is Waived
Provided You purchase Worldwide Trip Protector within seven (7) business days of Your initial
Trip payment; protect the full non-refundable cost of Your Trip; are medically able to travel on the
date You purchase Worldwide Trip Protector and have not filed a Trip Cancellation claim due to a
Pre-Existing Condition within 180 days prior to the Effective Date of Your Protection Plan.
If You purchase Worldwide Trip Protector within seven (7) business days of Your initial Trip
payment and for the full non-refundable cost of Your Trip, You will be eligible for benefits up to
the benefit amount protected up to a maximum of $20,000, due to Bankruptcy or Default of an
airline, cruise line, or tour operator (other than the travel agent or Travel Supplier that solicited
this Protection Plan and from whom you purchased your travel arrangements) which stops
service more than fourteen (14) days following Your Protection Plan Effective Date.
Your scheduled Departure Date must be no more than fifteen (15) months beyond the Effective
Date of Your Protection Plan. Benefits will be paid due to Bankruptcy or Default of an airline only
if no alternate transportation is available. If alternate transportation is available, benefits will be
limited to the change fee charged to allow You to transfer to another airline in order to get to Your

“Bankruptcy” means the filing of a petition for voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy in a court of

You are eligible for benefits equal to the amount protected for unused non-refundable prepaid
expenses for Travel Arrangements whenever You are prevented from taking a Trip for any of the
following reasons that occur after the Effective Date of Your Protection Plan:
Sickness, Injury or death involving You or Your Traveling Companion or Your Business Partner or
Family Member of either You or Your Traveling Companion which results in medically imposed
restrictions as certified by a Legally Qualified Physician at the time of loss preventing Your
continued participation in the Trip;
Unannounced strike that causes complete cessation of services of Your Common Carrier for at
least 48 consecutive hours;
Weather which causes complete cessation of services of Your Common Carrier for at least 48
Employer termination or layoff affecting You or a person(s) sharing the same room during Your
Trip. Employment must have been with the same employer for at least 3 continuous years;
Primary Residence of You or Your Traveling Companion is rendered uninhabitable by unforeseen
Burglary of You or Your Traveling Companion’s primary residence within 10 days of departure of
Felonious Assault of You or Your Traveling Companion within 10 days of departure or during
Terrorism in a country which is part of the Trip which causes the United States Department of
State to issue a travel warning that You should not travel within that country for a period of
time that would include the Trip;
Hijack, quarantine, jury duty, or court ordered appearance as a witness in a legal action in which
You or Your Traveling Companion is not a party (except law enforcement officers);
You or Your Traveling Companion are called to emergency military duty for a national disaster
other than war;
Traffic accident, substantiated by a police report, directly involving either You or a Traveling
Companion while en route to a scheduled departure point;
