                   CALLING THAI BOXING ENTHUSIASTS

One officer from Watling Street Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) is
introducing a new style of fitness training to young people of Coven.

PCSO 8853 Adrian Price has established a series of training classes which
will take place at Coven Memorial Hall in Coven Village on Tuesday evenings
between 7.30pm and 9pm.

Supported by a local resident who’s a trained Thai Boxing instructor and a
colleague, classes will begin on Tuesday 20 October 2009 with free entry for
the first class, with a fee charged only for the following classes of just £1 per
session.

The management committee of the Memorial Hall have kindly agreed to
donate their facilities free for the first month of the classes and it’s hoped that
the sessions whilst open to all ages, will certainly appeal to local young
people.

PC Adrian Price said: “It’s hoped that the classes will provide and interesting
activity for whilst also keeping them fit and healthy too.”

Classes will take place at the Memorial Hall between 7.30pm and 9pm on:

Tuesday 20 October
Tuesday 27 October
Tuesday 10 November
Tuesday 17 November
Tuesday 24 November

Ends.
