School Facility Use Guidelines
Ext. 3005 Ext. 3004 Ext. 3001 Ext. 3009 When community members or clubs wish to use a district building or facility, they must follow set procedures to ensure maximum benefit to all involved.
REGuLATIONS:
Facilities are available to the community only after school needs are met. The group procuring the building use permit is responsible for verifying their event on the requested building’s calendar 24 hours before the event. All groups using the facilities are responsible for pre, during and post event supervision of the activity being conducted.

Usage permits may be cancelled if privileges or properties are being abused. Interested parties must submit an application to the building principal for review. The application for use will be reviewed by the principal. The principal will determine if the facility is available on the requested day and time. The district’s Business Manager will determine what category the organization falls into. The Business Manager will determine what the fee will be at that time. Once the application is signed by the Business Manager, the request form is forwarded to the Superintendent of Schools for final approval. The district reserves the right to refuse any function, club, or activity.
Groups who wish to use the district’s facilities should log onto the district web site at www.ptsd.k12.pa.us and review the Use of School Facilities Policy #1330. Facility use forms are available at building offices.
