1. To prepare students for further studies in the field of Biological Science.
The purpose of this course is to provide each student with exploratory
experiences on the fundamental concepts of Biological Science. This course is
aligned to the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards of Learning. Mastery
of all areas will be emphasized.

Class Work/Participation 20%
Attendance is key to your success in this class. Therefore, absences will be
handled in the same manner that is covered in your student handbook. You are
absolutely responsible for all the work you missed whenever you are absent.
You must show me your excused admit before you can receive make-up work.
All missing assignments must be handed in at the appropriate time. Failure to
abide by this rule will result in you getting a lower grade.
1. A detailed notebook is required for this class in addition to pens and
pencils. Only information from this class may be entered in this notebook
as this book is intended to serve as a reference for you upon the
completion of this course. All class notes, handouts, class work, tests,
and quizzes must be kept in your notebook.
2. Please be on time and in your seat for the start of class. When the late
bell rings, Pasco High School Tardy Policy will be followed for anyone late
3. Be respectful to yourself and others. You must be quiet when someone
else is talking (this includes the teacher).
4. Pens, pencils, and notebook must accompany you to class everyday.
