Fall is a beautiful time to visit Hana Oceanfront Cottages!
Hana Oceanfront Cottages is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year; however when I was
a tourist Fall was my favorite time. Many tourists don’t realize that even in the islands we have
four Seasons, although they are not as noticeable as the mainland. There are certain trees that
do start to change color and most of the Plumeria, a very fragrant tropical flower used in
making leis, also starts to lose its leaves. The days do also start to get shorter and often the
evenings become a bit cooler.

By September most of the Summer travelers are back at home and it is a wonderful time to get
some wonderful deals on airline travel. Although Hana never seems busy any time of year, with
the children being back in school, beautiful pristine Hamoa Beach, the beach right by our
accommodations will be almost empty of people. It is the ideal time to head down to the
golden black soft sands of the beach and feel like it is yours alone. Imagine sitting on the sand,
watching the ocean slowly roll in and out and you are totally surrounded by lust vegetation.
Truly this is the tropical paradise that dream are made of, that you only imagined this beauty
could actually exist or perhaps you may have seen photos in a travel magazine. Yes, Paradise is
real in Hana!

Either our Hamoa Beach Cottage or Hamoa Beach Suite will fulfill your dreams of an ideal
vacation home, all just steps to this incredible beach. The views from either accommodation
are breathtaking and often our guests spend most of their time on their private lanais just
gazing out at the surf. If surf is up, oh what a show! Some of the best surfers in the country will
make their way to Hana to surf at Hamoa Beach, or Koki Beach, the other beach located just ½
mile from Hana Oceanfront Cottages. There are also the boogie boarders out there catching
any swell they can, and the newest craze, stand up paddle boarding has brought in a new type
of action that is wonderful to behold. It looks so easy, but even just standing up on one of
these boards is challenging, let alone riding the surf. This is just some of the action you will see
from your luxurious oceanfront Cottage or Suite.

As the sun sets each evening you will also love the colors in the sky as the tones of the blue sky
and white clouds make way for beautiful tones of pink, purple, and gold. It is an ever changing
show and each night you will see something different. The beauty of all this is as a guest of
Hana Oceanfront Cottages you will actually have the time to just sit and watch the sky and the
sea as it gets ready for the end of day.

Once the sky blackens, then one of the most incredible light shows begins. The stars in Hana
are hard to explain as we are at one of the most remote places in the world with no city lights
nearby, thus the sky is aglow with stars, and the Milky Way is so thick it looks like cloud
coverage. Even if you take a short walk from your Hamoa Beach Suite or Cottage and move
away from the lighting of Hana Oceanfront Cottages, you will be amazed that so many stars
exist.

If a visit to Hana is in your plans during your time on Maui, we invite you to come and enjoy our
beautiful accommodations and all the natural beauty of this place called Hana!
We were staying at a small Hana vacation rental about a five minute drive to Hamoa Beach and
discovered that there was an oceanfront vacant lot for sale with direct access to one of the best beaches
in all of Hawaii, Hamoa Beach. and the answer came to us, build oceanfront accommodations in Hana
Cottages that offer incredible views, with direct access to the beach and offer the best tropical vacation
retreat properties.
