Coordinators Conference October 8-9, 2002
This year’s Compensatory Education Program Coordinators’ Conference will be
held as a pre-conference to the North Carolina Community College Adult Educators
Association (NCCCAEA) fall conference. The Compensatory Education Coordinators’
Conference will be held on October 8-9, 2002 at the Sheraton Four Seasons/Joseph S.
Koury Center, Greensboro, North Carolina.
The conference will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8
and end on Wednesday, October 9 at 12:30 p.m. This year’s conference theme is
“Compensatory Education: Revisiting the Past to Improve the Future.” A tentative
conference agenda is enclosed.
Registration fee for the conference is $70.00, and anyone planning to attend must
pay the conference registration fee. Please be sure to mail your check along with your
registration form by Wednesday, September 25. Since we are a pre-conference to the
NCCCAEA conference this year, Mr. John M. Smith is handling our registration. All
registration forms are to be mailed to Mr. Smith as indicated on the registration form.
The room rate is $106 + tax. To make reservations, call the Four Seasons Hotel
at (336) 292-9161. To get the group rate, identify yourself as a participant of the
NCCCAEA Conference. A block of rooms has been reserved for NCCCAEA participants,
and will be available at this price until all rooms in the block have been reserved. Please
call the hotel and make your reservations as soon as possible following receipt of this
correspondence.
