The five-foot-tall All-Star Boots will be auctioned off to the public
on in late July following the All-Star Game. Fans from all
over the country will be able to bid on their favorite teams’ boots to
keep as a one-of-a-kind collectible from the 75th Annual All-Star Game.
Proceeds from the auction will go to the Astros in Action Foundation
to benefit downtown’s Main Street Square, the recently completed
pedestrian plaza featuring dramatic water fountains.

The centerpiece of a bold project to revive Houston's traditional
retail core, Main Street Square is located downtown between two light
rail stations in the 900 and 1100 blocks of Main Street. METRORail
trains zip through the center of a 250-foot-long, eight-inch deep
reflecting pool in the 1000 block of Main, where 13 jets of water arc
40 feet into the air. Thirty-nine smaller jets animate the perimeter
of the pool.
