					RULES FOR MINI & 540 NATS
GENERAL RULES

   

       All car, batteries and motor specifications will be based on the AARCMCC rules for 1/10
       scale On-Road electric cars
      The format for racing will be 6 heats (3 on Saturday afternoon and 3 Sunday morning)
       with best 3 out of 6 rounds counting towards qualifying position.
      Finals shall comprise 8 cars. Finals format will be three “A” finals and one lower final.
      Race format is 6 minute heats for Mini’s, 6 minute heats for 540 and 8 minute heats for
       23 turn class
      Personal transponders can be used
      Age for Seniors is 40 years plus
      There will be people for scrutineering so weight, motors and batteries will be checked on
       the day.
      Tyres are open for all classes


CLASS SPECIFIC RULES

MINI

      Mini class cars are to be either the Tamiya M-03, M-03M or M-03L Mini cars in FWD
       format
      No 4WD Minis will be allowed
      Cars must run Mini size tyres of their own choice. No Touring Car tyres or rims
      Motor must be the Tamiya Sports Tuned motor
      Maximum pinion size is 20 tooth
      No gearbox assembly will be allowed that changes the internal ratio of the gearbox
      Aftermarket accessories will be allowed eg arms, shocks , etc as long as they do not alter
       the overall dimensions of the Mini’s track and wheelbase
      Minimum weight for Mini is 1325 g including transponder
      Body shells must be either Mini Cooper, BMW style Mini or Suzuki Swft (from Tamiya).
       Aftermarket Mini bodies (Frewer etc) will be allowed
      No additional wings will be allowed. Exception is the Suzuki Swift wing as long as it is
       affixed in the correct location and mounted as intended.

TOURING CAR & TOURING CAR SENIORS

       All touring cars will conform to the AARCMCC rules for 1/10 scale On-Road electric
       4WD cars.
      Motor will be handout Johnson 540J

23 turn TOURING CAR

       All touring cars will conform to the AARCMCC rules for 1/10 scale On-Road electric
       4WD cars
      Motor to be supplied by driver and should be 23t locked timing motors
