Parent participation is what makes our Home and School Association strong. We are
looking forward to working with you to make this school year a success for our children.
Volunteers are needed for various activities through out the school year. Most volunteer
work is coordinated through committees, please indicate any committee you would like
to join on the volunteer form that is enclosed.

All homerooms that have 90% membership sign-up receive $50.00 for classroom materials!
100% receive the $50.00 and a PIZZA PARTY!

Dear Cook-Wissahickon Parents, the Home and School Association is working hard to improve the
communications channel between Parents, the Principal, Teachers and School Staff, in order to
achieve this goal we will need the direct cooperation of one parent per classroom, who will be the
liaison between us, all the other parents in your child’s room, your child’s teacher and vice verse.

Finally we will like to inform every parent at Cook-Wissahickon that our doors are always open and
we are open to suggestions, because you, the Principal, the teachers and the H&S Association are
a team. As a team we should work together toward a common goal: To provide our children with
the best educational experience possible. Please look for our “Suggestion Box” at the school
entrance on the parent table, where you can leave your comments and any constructive thoughts
about any of the H&S activities ANNONNIMOUSLY, or perhaps even suggesting new ones. We
promise to read them all and to take into consideration as many suggestions as we can.
